Roasted Red Pepper Spread is a good recipe to have in your back pocket for unexpected guests, or just easy entertaining. It is a great tasting spread that you can make with minimal effort.
You can stock your pantry with a couple items and pull this together in 5 minutes flat! Roasted red peppers in a jar are the base for the recipe. They taste great and are fully prepared. Walnuts add an earthiness to the spread and lemon juice brightens it. It gets a touch of sweetness from molasses and honey. It tastes like a lot of time went into it, except it didn’t.
Roasted Red Pepper spread can be served with toasted baguette slices, pita bread or crackers. You can serve it on it’s own or it would make a colorful addition to a simple cheese board.
